The Instructor Apprentice program

  • The Description:

    Our 200-hour Professional Educator Instructor Program is a hybrid training course designed for licensed professionals ready to transition from service provider to educator. This comprehensive program prepares future instructors to confidently teach, mentor, and evaluate students in a licensed cosmetology or esthetics school setting.

    Built around Milady Professional Educator, 4th Edition and aligned with Utah instructor licensing standards and the Prov examination outline, this program provides both theoretical foundations and real-world teaching experience.

    Please note: We accept a maximum of 1–2 apprentice instructors monthly

  • Program Highlights

    This is not just a theory-based course. During in-person hours, trainees serve as secondary instructors within an active learning environment. Students will:

    • Deliver classroom instruction

    • Assist with practical demonstrations

    • Supervise student services

    • Conduct written and practical evaluations

    • Practice classroom management

    • Oversee documentation and grading procedures

      This hands-on teaching model ensures graduates leave with real classroom experience, not just textbook knowledge.

    TYPE: BOTH ON-SITE AND ONLINE

    PREREQUISITES: Applicants must hold an active license in their teaching specialty.

    *Students will be required to put down a minimum of a $1000 down payment. remaining tuition will be due by orientation.
